Our Mission: Unleashing single-minded, Christ-centered, biblically anchored, world-changers. Deut. 6:4-9
C.R.E.W., EBC's student ministry, stands for “Created to Reach the Entire World.” It is meant to carry with it a subtle military connotation, from the name itself to the “stencil” font that is used. The idea is to keep before our students the fact that we are all involved in an ongoing spiritual battle, an invisible war for our souls. Red is the color that often symbolizes sacrifice, and it is used in conjunction with this logo to reflect the sacrificial blood of Christ.
This name is also a reminder of our commitment to “The Great Commission” and our mandate to “reach the entire world” for Christ. 1 Peter 2:9 declares that we “are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that (we) may declare the praises of him who called (us) out of darkness into his wonderful light.” This verse reminds us that, even though our salvation is a free gift of God’s mercy and grace, we were bought with a price and now have the responsibility of sharing this gift with lost people everywhere.
